كيري: الولايات المتحدة لن تتخلى عن الشعب السوري

الوزير كيري في كلمة القاها أمس أمام جمع من الدبلوماسيين والقادة المدنيين في العاصمة البلجيكية بروكسل: الولايات المتحدة لن تتخلى عن الشعب السوري وسنبقى فاعلين في مساعي تحقيق السلام.

“بالأمس، أعلنت الولايات المتحدة عن قرارها تعليق الحوار الثنائي مع روسيا بشأن وقف الأعمال العدائية في #سوريا. لكنني اريد أن يكون واضحاً جداً للجميع إننا لن نتخلى عن الشعب السوري، ولن نتخلى عن السعي لتحقيق السلام، ولن نترك الميدان المتعدد الأطراف. وسوف نستمر في محاولة إيجاد سبيل للمضي قدماً نحو إنهاء هذه الحرب. وسنقوم بكل ما هو ممكن عبر المجموعة الدولية لدعم سوريا، وعبر الأمم المتحدة، وحتى من خلال إجتماعات أصغر متعددة الأطراف من أجل أيجاد سبيل للأمام. ونظل ملتزمين بالتوصل الى سوريا آمنة، مستقرة، كاملة، موحدة، وغير طائفية، وسنبقى فاعلين في مساعي تحقيق السلام.”

Secretary Kerry speaks during an address to diplomats and civic leaders in Brussels, Belgium:
“Yesterday, the United States announced our decision to suspend the bilateral discussion with Russia on the reinstitution of the cessation of the hostilities.
But I want to be very, very clear to everybody we are not giving up on the Syrian people, we are not abandoning the pursuit of peace, we are not going to leave the multilateral field. We are going to continue to try to find a way forward in order to end this war. And we will do everything possible through the International Syria Support Group, through the United Nations, or even through smaller multilateral meetings in order to try to find a way forward. We remain committed to a peaceful, stable, whole, united, nonsectarian Syria, and we’re going to continue to stay active in pursuit of that peace.”
