قال المعلق السوري طالب إبراهيم، الذي يمثل النظام السوري في وسائل الإعلام, في مقابلة تلفزيونية مؤخرا: ” ياريت النظام يملك  سلاحا نوويا ليخلصنا من هذه …”. واضاف ان المقترح وقف إطلاق النار لمدة ستة أسابيع في حلب بوساطة مبعوث الامم المتحدة ستيفان دي ميستورا: “هذه ليست هدنة وهذا هو مقدمة لاستسلام غير مشروط [للإرهابيين]”.

In a recent TV interview, Syrian commentator Taleb Ibrahim, who frequently represents the Syrian regime in the media, said: “If only the regime had a nuclear weapon which it could use and rid us of these…”. He further said of the proposed six-week ceasefire in Aleppo brokered by U.N. envoy Staffan de Mistura: “This is not a truce. This is a prelude to the unconditional surrender [of the terrorists].” The interview aired on February 18 on the new Qatari Al-Araby TV channel, broadcasting from London.
