In an interview with the Saudi Al-Majd TV channel, Saudi cleric Awadh Al-Qarni discussed the recent Twitter campaign against him by Arab liberals. Sheikh Al-Qarni said that the liberals were upset because he had revealed Israel’s plan to assassinate him, quoting the former head of the Israeli Mossad, who allegedly said that “if Al-Qarni is alive six months from now, I will spit in the face of the Mossad.” Sheikh Al-Qarni added that ISIS and the Houthis had also placed him on their hit lists and that Arab liberals were after him as well.
