قال رجل الدين اليمني الشيخ عبد المجيد الزنداني ان هجرة الطيور من أوروبا إلى العالم العربي، ومن الولايات المتحدة إلى أمريكا الجنوبية، ومن روسيا وإلى الجنوب, لهي إشارة إلى أن هذه الدول ستصبح غير صالحة للسكن في ال 15-20 سنة القادمة, وذلك في مقابلة على قناة سهيل التلفزيونية اليمنية, واضاف أنه في عام 2013، كان هناك توافق في الآراء بين العلماء “بأن العصر الجليدي القادم سيبدأ [في تلك البلدان] في عام 2014.” ثم قال “نحن مستعدون للتوصل إلى تفاهم معهم حول هذه المشاكل … ولكن هذا يجب أن لا يكون من خلال الاحتلال العسكري”،المقابلة بثت يوم 6 يونيو 2016
Yemeni cleric Sheikh Abd Al-Majid Al-Zindani said the migration of birds from Europe to the Arab world, from the U.S. to South America, and from Russia to its south was an indication that these countries would become uninhabitable in 15-20 years. Interviewed on the Yemeni Suhail TV channel, Al-Zindani said that in 2013, there had been a consensus among scientists “that the next Ice Age would begin [in those countries] in 2014.” “We are ready to come to an understanding about these problems… but this must not be through military occupation,” he said.
