Twenty-five-year-old beekeeper Kanaa’n Abu Rook, from Khan Yunis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, demonstrated a daring trick: dipping his arm into a pile of bees without wearing any protective clothing. He approaches the pile of bees slowly, without showing any signs of fear, Thursday. No normal beekeeper, people have started to call Rook “The Bee Friend”. Rook affirms this title; he says, “The secret about raising bees is the friendship between the man and his bees.”
