More than 400,000 worshippers gathered in the Mexico City suburb of Ecatepec to listen to Pope Francis lead mass. 300,000 tickets were sold according to event organisers but around 100,000 additional people crammed into the vicinity of the stage to hear the pontiff speak, according to reports.
