السفيرة باور في الجلسة الطارئة التي عقدها مجلس الأمن أمس حول الوضع في #حلب:
“إن نظام بشار الأسد وروسيا وايران، والمليشيات المرتبطة بهم، مسؤولون عما أسمته الأمم المتحدة “إنهيار تام للإنسانية”. فخلال الـ24 ساعة الماضية فقط، أفادت التقارير بقيام القوات الموالية للنظام بقتل ما لا يقل عن 82 مدنياً، بينهم 11 أمرأة و 13 طفل. كما تفيد التقارير بأن هذه القوات تدخل البيوت وتقوم بإعدام المدنيين على الفور. ووفقاً لمكتب المفوض السامي لحقوق الإنسان، فإن مليشيات أجنبية مثل حركة النجباء العراقية متورطة في عمليات القتل هذه.
نقول لنظام الأسد، وروسيا، وإيران – الدول الثلاث الأعضاء في الأمم المتحدة التي تقف خلف المجازر في حلب – إنتم تتحملون المسؤولية عن هذه الفضائع. وبرفضكم جهود الإخلاء من قبل الامم المتحدة والصيب الأحمر الدولي، فإنكم توجهون رسالة الى تلك المليشيات للإستمرار بما تقوم به الآن. إن إنكار وطمس الحقائق – كما ستفعلون اليوم – مثل قلب الأمور والقول عن الأبيض بأنه أسود. لن تبرئكم. فعندما يأتي اليوم الذي تحصل فيه محاسبة كاملة عن الأعمال الفظيعة التي ارتكبت في الهجوم على حلب – وهذا اليوم سيأتي عاجلاً او آجلاً – لن تستطيعوا الإدعاء بأنكم لم تعرفوا ما كان يحدث. ولن تستطيعوا الإدعاء بانكم لم تكونوا متورطين. فنحن جميعاً نعلم ما الذي يحدث. وجميعنا يعلم أنكم متورطون.”

“The regime of Bashar Al-Assad, Russia, Iran, and their affiliated militia are the ones responsible for what the UN called “a complete meltdown of humanity.”
In the last 24 hours alone, pro-Assad forces reportedly killed at least 82 civilians, including 11 women and 13 children.
These forces are reportedly entering homes and executing civilians on the spot, as we have heard. And according to the Office for the High Commissioner for Human Rights, foreign militias like Iraqi Harakat Al-Nujaba organization are involved in these killings.
To the Assad regime, Russia, and Iran – three Member States behind the conquest of and carnage in Aleppo – you bear responsibility for these atrocities. By rejecting UN-ICRC evacuation efforts, you are signaling to those militia who are massacring innocents to keep doing what they are doing. Denying or obfuscating the facts – as you will do today – saying up is down, black is white, will not absolve you. When one day there is a full accounting of the horrors committed in this assault of Aleppo – and that day will come, sooner or later – you will not be able to say you did not know what was happening. You will not be able to say you were not involved. We all know what is happening. And we all know you are involved.”
