عقد الإسلاميون البريطانيون أنجم شودري، ابو عز الدين، وأبو البراء مؤتمراً صحفياً في 23 مارس عام 2015، بعد خطاب وزيرة الداخلية البريطانية ” تيريزا ماي” والتي قالت فيه انها تتعهد بمكافحة التطرف الإسلامي. وقال ابو عز الدين أن تيريزا ماي وديفيد كاميرون “ليذهبوا إلى الجحيم”، وقال أبو براء ان على” تيريزا ماي” أن “تحزم حقائبها وتغادرنا” إذا لم يعجبها الوعظ هناك وأنه “إذا رحلتنا إلى الرقة ، أنا متأكد من أننا سوف نكون جميعا سعداء للغاية “.
