you believe you can find anybody who does not prefer to live in a peaceful and calm community? – “Well of course no. Everybody needs tranquility for the family or to advance his projects”. Well, you get no credit for this answer, because it is wrong. There is at least one subject that does not fit in this category. His name is Ali Khamenei and he holds the position of Supreme Leader in Iran. Mr. Ali Khamenei and other Ayatollahs of this ironically called Islamic Republic cannot sleep well without poking the fire in countries next door. This is an exhibition that not a single simple peaceful minded act is displayed. Since the establishment of the regime in Iran 36 years the first priority has been organizing suppressing forces such as the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) or the Besiege, the security forces that presently function in Iran. Ayatollahs have also passed their times providing support for the malfeasant groups in the region. They received great help from the appeasement policies originated by US and other western powers. That is how the today number one global threat, the fundamentalism, was developed.
Iran as the only fundamentalist state has acted as an umbrella for jihadists and other extremist groups to grow. That makes the battle of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), determined to topple the present regime in Iran, more global and more difficult. Maryam Rajavi, the charismatic leader of Iranian resistance recently told the Al Arabiya TV, “I like to tell the people of the region, Mullahs do not represent Iranian people who desire a free democratic Iran.”
The diverse Iranian groups and communities that form the resistance are set to hold their annual gathering this weekend t in the French capital. As an annual tradition, Mrs. Rajavi will address the crowd, which is expected to go over one hundred thousands that it was last year. The event on June 13th has the endorsement of many renowned celebrities such as US, European or Arab Parliamentarians who condemn the bellicose manner of the regime in Iran.
Rudy Guiliani, former Mayor of New York city says,” There is no one, Republican or Democrat, Conservative or Liberal, political parties in any country that disputes the fact that Iran is the largest sponsor of terrorism in the world. “
Some of political prisoner in Iran have sent their message of support for the gathering. “We like to ask our fellow countrymen to be our voice there, to remember those tied up to the gallows.”
There are regional supports as well. “It is time we heard the cry of the people of Iran and their legitimate resistance.” This was the message sent by 591 lawmakers from 7 Arab countries.
Ken Blackwell, former mayor of Cincinnati and US representative at UN Human Rights commission wrote,” If you are paying attention to the Middle East, and thus to Iran, it would be prudent to also pay attention to France later this week. If you keep your eyes on Paris on June 13, you will witness to a powerful demonstration of opposition to Tehran’s clerical regime”
